Welcome

"Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings" (Isaiah 58:12).

On August 29th, 2005, everything changed for the city of New Orleans and its residents. Hurricane Katrina hit, the levees broke and an entire city was destroyed, laid waste underneath the floods. 80% of the city was flooded with waters up to 15 feet deep. Homes were ruined and lives destroyed by this furious storm.

Now, nearly three years later, the devastation done, what lies ahead is rebuilding. From June 28th through July 5th of this year, 20 people from GRPC in Bear, Delaware, will be in New Orleans helping people rebuild their lives and their homes.

As a team, we have adopted Isaiah 58:12 as a theme verse as we are prepare for our trip. On this site we will introduce you to the team, share prayer requests and, once we are down there, will post stories and pictures of our trip. May God be honored and glorified as we take his mercy and grace to a city so desperately in need.
